Community Beef Donation Program

From the start, Thunder Road Farm has been committed to providing our customers with the chance to support community food security by increasing access to quality products. In 2020, we collaborated with neighbors, friends and family to donate three "Stimulus Steers" to local food-distribution centers. More than one thousand pounds of ground beef were distributed to households in the Mission, Jocko, and Missoula valleys. We know that many communities struggle with access to affordable, healthy food, and not just during a global pandemic. With your help, we can continue to fight hunger and food insecurity here in our corner of Montana.

Food Tastes Better When You Share

Help us keep a good thing going! We offer a 5% discount to customers who are willing to donate 10% of their bulk beef purchase to food distribution centers including Soft Landing Missoula, the Arlee-Jocko Valley Food Pantry, and the Missoula Food Bank. Put simply, we are meeting you halfway: we give up a share of our profit, you donate a portion of your beef, and together we help feed hungry people in our community. We'll do what we can to make it easy for you by taking care of the donation delivery. You will receive a receipt for your tax deductible donation.
